As the team heads to Barafu Camp, there is no longer vegetation at this altitude but the views are stunning. Barafu Camp is Elevation 4673 M. The team will not sleep here. Instead, they will prepare for the Summit.

Note from the group leader, "All are resting. Geared & prepped for summit. Dinner at 5:30pm, rest, wake up 10pm, prepare, tea & biscuits & set off for summit around 11pm. Each trekker will have their own guide/summit porter with them. No one is alone at any time on the summit trek. Conditions on trek are “pleasant” (not windy) based on other trekkers who just came down. Temperature though is around -10C to -15C but all trekkers are prepped for such. Everyone is motivated and at same time we always keep a close watch on health. So far, no one is showing any sign of health issue. Many thanks for all your support "
